Focus and Scope

AZKIYA: Jurnal Ilmiah Pengkajian dan Penelitian Pendidikan Islam is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal focusing on Islamic Religious Education and Islamic Education Studies.

The journal aims to disseminate high-quality research, theoretical studies, and innovative practices that contribute to the development of Islamic education in formal, non-formal, and informal educational settings.

AZKIYA particularly welcomes manuscripts that demonstrate clear academic contributions, methodological rigor, relevance to contemporary educational issues, and implications for the development of Islamic education.

Focus

The primary focus of AZKIYA is the advancement of knowledge, theory, policy, and educational practice in the field of Islamic Religious Education, including its interaction with contemporary social, cultural, technological, and educational developments.

Out of Scope

AZKIYA does not prioritize manuscripts that focus solely on general Islamic studies, theology, Islamic law, economics, politics, or purely religious discourse without a clear educational dimension or contribution to Islamic education.

Manuscripts outside the journal's focus and scope may be declined during the initial editorial screening process.
