Author Guidelines

Authors wishing to submit a manuscript to Jurnal Geologi Pertambangan (JGP) must adhere to the following guidelines. Manuscripts that do not comply with these instructions may be returned or rejected prior to the review process.

• Title: Concise, informative, and accurately reflecting the content of the research (maximum 15 words). Title Case capitalization should be used.
• Author Name(s) & Affiliation(s): Full name(s) without academic titles, along with department/program, institution/university, country, and the email address of the corresponding author.
• Abstract & Keywords: Written in both Indonesian and English (150–250 words each). Concisely state background, objective, methodology, main results, and conclusion. Include 3 to 5 specific terms (e.g., slope stability, geotechnics, geochemistry, coal).
• Introduction: Contains the research background, literature review / state of the art, research novelty, and research objectives.
• Methods: Clearly describes the study location (coordinates/location map), equipment, sampling techniques, laboratory procedures, and geological/mining data analysis methods.
• Results and Discussion: Presents research findings (tables, graphs, mapping data) accompanied by an in-depth analysis and interpretation. Compare results with previous relevant studies.
• Conclusion: Directly addresses the research objectives in a clear and concise manner. Recommendations for future research or technical applications may be included.
• Acknowledgements (Optional): Expresses gratitude to funding agencies (grants), laboratory facility providers, or field assistance personnel.
• References: Primary references should preferably be published within the last 10 years (at least 80% from peer-reviewed journals with ISSN).
