Mining industry is an activity that a higher risk of accidents that resulted in his injuries are not only humans, but also can lead to death. Mine accident victims sometimes - sometimes can be more than one person even in certain cases such as underground coal mine explosion can result in tens or even hundreds of victims. In addition to the risk of accidents mine workers are also very risky to health problems from work. Problems of Health and Safety (K3) should receive special attention in a mining industry.
Safety is an attempt to carry out the work without causing the accident, in other words make the working environment or the working environment is safe and free from all sorts of dangers. The objective of safety is to conduct prevent the employee in performing the work was not an accident and damage to the tool - a tool that can inhibit the production of a work activity and result in losses.
Technology is not just given birth methods, equipment and products - new products that are beneficial to human life, but also gave birth to the problem - a new problem, namely the emergence of the hazards and risks to human safety. Work accidents must not be seen as destiny, because the accident does not happen just like that. Each accident must be the cause. One way this accident prevention is by the use of PPE (personal protective equipment) when they have a job.
