UPAYA PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL BILANGAN MELALUI MEDIA KARTU AMPELAS (SANDPAPER NUMBER) DI PAUD INKLUSI KOTA SAMARINDA

In the implementation of inclusive early childhood education, teachers need to prepare strategies in teaching and learning so that the learning process carried out is oriented according to the interests of children's needs and abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the Montessori method can improve children's ability to recognize the concept of numbers in PAUD Samarinda City. This study uses the type of classroom action research (PTK), each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were children aged 4-7 years totaling 12 children. The data collection technique used in this study was to use observation and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics. Based on research on the results of the first cycle oral test, it was found that there were still many students who had not been completed, as evidenced by the number of students who had completed as many as 5 students (41.3%) while 7 students (58.3%) had not reached completion. In the results of the second cycle of learning evaluation, it was found that there were still 3 students who received scores in the incomplete category or were in the undeveloped and still developing category, namely 25%, and the remaining 75% were in the complete category. So based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that increasing children's ability to recognize the concept of numbers can be increased through sandpaper number media at PAUD Inclusion in Samarinda City.
