MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA MELALUI MEDIA GAMBAR PADA ANAK DI RUMAH BELAJAR KAROMAH KECAMATAN SAMARINDA UTARA

This study aims to determine the extent of the use of image media in improving children's reading skills at the Karomah Learning House in North Samarinda District. This research is a Classroom Action Research with qualitative-quantitative data analysis techniques. The subjects of the study were 15 children studying at the Karomah Learning House. The results of data analysis showed that the use of image media can (1) improve children's reading skills, (2) make learning activities more active and enjoyable, (3) children's reading skills after the second cycle increased by a percentage of 93.33%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of image media can improve children's reading skills at the Karomah Learning House in North Samarinda District.
