Abstract

Interactive model of study is sharing information study stresses on communication and discussion processes through argument interaction loaded of intellectual activity. Learning achievement is the students’ ability to a material
which is submitted in a process of study, can be measured by using test, so that the students’ scores can be obtained, including kognitif, afektif, and psikomotorik aspects, so the description about the achievement of education program can be
obtained totally. This research used classroom action research. The research methods used in this study were planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. This research is excuted by two cycles, two meetings for each cycle. Problems that
were found in the first cycle were followed up at the next cycle. The objective of this research was to know how is the application of interactive model of study can increase the students’ achievement on science lesson with the topic was the
specific characteristics of mortal of grade VI of SDN No. 015 Tenggarong. This research took the data from the result of the first semester, and the scores of pretest used as a basic scores as a standard of comparison of the students’ scores
after they had studied by using interactive model. From the data obtained, than they were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. From the analysis it was known that there was an improvement of the scores. The mean score of pre-test was
59.90, at cycle I the score increased to 69.07, and at cycle II increased become 80.02. The result of the research showed that by applying interactive model of study could increase the students’ achievement.
