Pembiasaan Membaca Al-Qur’an Dengan Kaidah Tajwid Melalui Program Gema

The GEMA program is a community service activity carried out by students participating in the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program at Kutai Kartanegara University in Embalut Village. The problem faced is the children's lack of understanding of the importance of reading the Qur'an in accordance with the correct rules of tajwid. The objectives of this activity are to improve children's understanding and ability to read the Qur'an in accordance with tajwid and to foster a habit of reading regularly. The methods used include familiarizing children with reading the Qur'an, strengthening their understanding of tajwid through simple explanations, and direct guidance by providing reading examples and gradual corrections. The activity is carried out on a scheduled basis every afternoon after Asr prayer with an interactive and participatory approach. The results of the activity show an increase in the accuracy of letter pronunciation, the length of recitation, and the application of tajwid rules. This program also increases community participation and strengthens the role of students as agents of change in religious education.
