Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of the implementation of character education programs on the formation of students' Islamic identity at Ribathul Khail Tenggarong Islamic Senior High School (MA PPKP). The research method used was quantitative with a pre-test and post-test research design using a questionnaire instrument developed and adapted to the research context. The research sample consisted of 100 students from MA PPKP Ribathul Khail Tenggarong. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results of the study indicate a significant influence between the implementation of character education programs and the formation of students' Islamic identity. A well-implemented character education program at MA PPKP Ribathul Khail Tenggarong has a positive contribution to improving students' understanding of Islamic values and strengthening their Islamic identity. These findings underscore the importance of the role of character education in modern Islamic education, particularly in shaping a younger generation with a firm Islamic identity.
