MENINGKATKAN PROFESIONALISME GURU SMP NEGERI 5 TENGGARONG MELALUI BIMBINGAN TEKNIS PENULISAN ARTIKEL ILMIAH

Abstract

This article is a report of the implementation of scientific article writing training activities for teachers of SMPN 5 Tenggarong. The purposes of implementing of community service in the form of technical guidance for articles journal writing are: (1) Increase teacher motivation to carry out good and quality scientific writing activities, (2) Provide understanding to teachers about good and quality scientific writing methods, and (3) Produce manuscripts/articles by teachers that are worthy of publication. A number of 25 teachers of SMPN 5 Tenggarong  were involved in this training. the results of the implementation of scientific article writing training activities for teachers of SMPN 5 Tenggarong can be concluded as follows: 1) The motivation of teachers to carry out scientific article writing activities is greatly improved after following scientific article writing training, (2) Teachers' understanding of methods the writing of scientific articles has greatly improved through scientific article writing training, and (3) the trainee teachers have been able to produce manuscripts/articles that are worthy of publication in journals
