Abstract

This article tries to describe the training activity which aims to provide knowledge and skills to the community of Jembayan Dalam Village, especially PKK members and housewives on how to handle, process and market fishery products, especially fishery products of amplang. The methods used are the provision of materials, training and practice. The results of the data obtained that this training activity is very appropriate to do, considering the potential of the village which is quite large but is not utilized properly, due to the lack of knowledge and skills of the community in processing fishery products into value-added products. Furthermore, 86% of participants have never attended training on processing fishery products and 14% have. The community of Jembayan Dalam Village, especially for PKK members and housewives feel increasing in knowledge based on the material that has been delivered, question and answer discussions, and an increase in the field of expertise in processing fishery products, especially amplang crackers, cork fish and do attractive packaging to maintain its quality, taste, and marketing reach
