PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN JARAK JAUH GOOGLE CLASSROOM DI SMP NEGERI 8 LOA KULU

Abstract

Abstract: This article describes the implementation of community service
which was carried out at SMPN 8 Loa Kulu, Kutai Kartanegara
Regency, East Kalimantan in the form of the distance learning training
with the Google Classroom instrument. The objectives of the training
are: a) To develop learning strategies during the pandemic, b) to utilise
the ICT in distance learning activities, and c) to increase teachers’skill
in implementing the distance learning. The number of teachers involved
in this training was 15 people. The stages of the distance learning
training are among others: preparation stage, implementation stage and
evaluation stage. Having finished the training, participants (teachers)
have been able to develop learning strategies during the pandemic
Covid-19, to utilise ICT in learning activities and to have skill of using
the Google Classroom application as a distance learning mediu. By this
distance learning training, it is hoped that the teaching and learning
process and objectives learning can be achieved optimally even though it
is done through distance learning and during pandemic covid-19
