The INFLUENCE OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE ON THE QUALITY OF PUBLIC SERVICES IN THE SECTION OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF THE REGENCY OF KUTAI BARAT REGENCY

This study aims to determine the influence of organizational culture on the quality of public services. This type of research is descriptive research with quantitative research design. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used consisted of descriptive analysis, inferential statistical analysis and simple linear regression. The population in this study were employees at the Regional Secretariat office of West Kutai Regency, amounting to 149 people, so the sample used was 108. The results showed that the influence of organizational culture on the quality of public services in the Social Welfare Section of the regional secretariat of West Kutai Regency was in the good category according to the results of research in the field based on 8 indicators that became the focus of research, namely 1) Individual Initiatives, 2) Directions, 3) Integration, 4) Management Support, 5) Communication Patterns, 6) Conflict Tolerance, 7) Control, and 8) Reward System. Based on the results of research from 8 indicators, it shows the results of linear regression Y = 23.8 + 0.383X thus organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on the quality of public services in the Social Welfare Section of the regional secretariat of West Kutai Regency. Suggestions for employees at the regional secretariat office of West Kutai Regency so that they can be disciplined in carrying out their work so that the work that is the responsibility of employees can be well organized.
