KAJIAN TEKNIS GEOMETRI JALAN HAULING PADA PT. GURUH PUTRA BERSAMA SITE DESA GUNUNG SARI KECAMATAN TABANG KABUPATEN KUTAI KARTANEGARA

The purpose of this research is to examine the condition of coal hauling road and road geometry calculation on PT. Guruh Putra Bersama from mining pit to Room Stockpile according to used transport equipment including straight road’s wide, road’s wide on the corner, radius of cumature, superelevation, road grade. It is also to be comparison based on AASHTO theory. The actual condition of hauling road on straight road has 10 segment with wide size 6,85 – 24 metre, whereas referenced on AASHTO theory calculation based on hauling equipment specification, researcher got a result 8.592 m, there is 3 segment on the road that need to repair, it is on segment 8, 9 and 10 whereas on the actual corner has a wide from 8,54 – 29,41 m ,according to AASHTO minimum wide for road corner is 13,127 m with 7 road corner between segment-01 (pit/mining front) until segment-10 (Stockpile) has radius of cumature sized 8,81 m – 16 m and actual superelevasi (e) is 0,028 m – 0,20 m. the rimpull value for cope with the grade in Gear-1 is 5.209,3 Kg and vehicle’s wheel rolling resistance to actuate 20 ton vehicle is 400 kg. Hino FM320 TI Dump truck ability for cope with the grade on segment -2 with vehicle weight 20 tons on grade 9,7 % is 38,8 kg. segment -4/5 must be settle with force and vehicle weight 20 ton and grade 9,8 % is 39,2 kg. on segment 8 must be settle with force and vehicle weight 20 ton and grade 11 ,6 % is 46,6 kg. Hauling Road Construction composed from base material covered and compacted with over burden material. The surface of the road has accept a load from front wheel and rear wheel is 14.061,39 kg/m2.
