<p><span><em>This research is intended to know the influence of learning facilities </em><span><em>toward the students’ learning interest of the eighth grade of SMP Negeri 4 </em><span><em>Tenggarong. The technique used to get the sample is by using simple random</em><br /><span><em>technique. There are 36 students as the sample of the research. Based on the result of </em><span><em>the research and based on the result of data analysis, it is obtained that the value of </em><span><em>r-counted is 0.628, while the value of r-table at α=5% and df=36 is 0.329. The value</em><br /><span><em>of r-counted is compared to the value of r-table, the comparison indicated that rcounted is bigger than r-table (0.628>0.329). Because the value of r-counted is </em><span><em>bigger than r-table, so there is positive influence 0.628 (6.28%) between learning</em><br /><span><em>facilities variable (x) and learning interest variable (y). Meanwhile, based on the </em><span><em>calculation by using t-test, it is obtained that the value of t-counted is 4.705, and the </em><span><em>value of t-table with α=5% and df=N-2=36-2=34 is 1.684. It indicated that tcounted is bigger than t-table (4.705>1.684). <p><span><em>The using of teaching material such as student’s work sheet (LKS) </em><span><em>especially for Bahasa Indonesia subject in SMP Negeri 5 Tenggarong is obligated </em><span><em>for each students. LKS teaching material which is used in SMP Negeri 5</em><br /><span><em>Tenggarong is based on curriculum of KTSP 2009. One of the benefits of using </em><span><em>LKS especially in teaching Bahasa Indonesia subject is to help teacher in daily </em><span><em>teaching to achieve optimal learning result. The effectiveness of using LKS in</em><br /><span><em>study Bahasa Indonesia subject of the ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 5 </em><span><em>Tenggarong because it has fulfilled and has applied the characteristics in study </em><span><em>effectiveness, for examples: (a) the mastery of materials studied, the materials to</em><br /><span><em>be accepted by the students must suitable with the mastery level of the students, </em><span><em>not giving materials which are difficult to be accepted and digested by students. </em><span><em>By using LKS it is easier for students in mastering the materials; (b) students feel</em><br /><span><em>happy in learning process, teacher can create interesting and joyful atmosphere </em><span><em>in teaching learning activities; (c) students become happy toward their school, </em><span><em>with good value in learning, the love toward the school will grow; (d) students</em><br /><span><em>become obedient toward various existing roles in society; (e) to teach is to </em><span><em>produce all wanted to be reached, using LKS teaching material as good as </em><span><em>possible can get optimal learning result.</em></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span><span><strong><em>Keywords </em></strong><span><em>: Student’s work sheet, study effectiveness, optimal learning result</em></span></span><br /><br class="Apple-interchange-newline" /></span></p>JUMAIRI JUMAIRI

<p><span><em>This study is aimed to describe the students’ ability in using </em><span><em>derivational suffixes in word formation. Word formation is one of the important </em><span><em>aspects in vocabulary building because the students can know how to create new</em><br /><span><em>words through kinds of processes, by using compounding, blending, clipping, </em><span><em>acronyms, affixes, etc. The design of the research is descriptive quantitative. </em><span><em>This study assigned 58 students of the second semester of English Department</em><br /><span><em>in academic year 2014/2015 as the population and sample of the study. Data of </em><span><em>this study were the students’ scores in vocabulary test about derivational </em><span><em>suffixes used in word formations. The vocabulary test as the instrument of the</em><br /><span><em>study was in the form of written test in the type of short essay test. Relying on </em><span><em>descriptive quantitative design, the data obtained were analyzed by using </em><span><em>descriptive statistics which were focused on mean score and rate percentage.</em><br /><span><em>The research revealed the following findings: (1) The students’ ability in using </em><span><em>derivational suffixes in word formation of the second semester of English </em><span><em>Department of University of Kutai Kartanegara in academic year 2014/2015</em><br /><span><em>was good. This fact was supported by the students’ mean score was 67.89 which </em><span><em>was on B grade (good level); (2) The scores distribution of the students’ </em><span><em>ability in using derivational suffixes in word formation of the second semester of</em><br /><span><em>English Department of University of Kutai Kartanegara in academic year </em><span><em>2014/2015 were in five criteria ranged from A to E grade. It was found that 11 </em><span><em>or 18.97% of the students got A (excellent) level, 2 3 or 39.66% of the</em><br /><span><em>students obtained B (good) level, 15 or 25.86% of the students gained C (fair) </em><span><em>level, 6 or 10.34% of the students got D (poor) level, and 3 or 5.17% of the </em><span><em>students got E (failed) level. <span><em>The understanding of society of Dusun Mentaos about Islam aqidah is still low </em><span><em>because the society stil very strong hold the culture of Java, even in the form of believe, </em><span><em>behavior, until certain rituals, in which it will more or less affect into all activities done</em><br /><span><em>in their lives. The forms of ritual of Javanese Moslem Culture of Dusun Mentaos are to </em><span><em>represent ancestors heritage which have ingrained and hard to be left and also </em><span><em>eliminated. The forms of ritual which are still go into effect in society, among others are:</em><br /><span><em>season of tandur (cok bakal), wiwit/panen, khitan, in which it has a purpose to its event </em><span><em>and its life to be protected from the hindrance of unseen spirits (mbaurekso). The role of </em><span><em>moslem scholars in actualization of Islam aqidah in Dusun Mentaos is by using religious </em><span><em>activities. <p>This research aims to find out the implementation of Guidance and Counseling program and the efforts made to improve the implementation of Guidance and Counseling programs and the guidelines for the implementation of Guidance and Counseling in schools. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Tenggarong, SMPN 1 Loa Kulu, and SMPN 1 Loa Janan . The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative because this research intended to identify and describe the implementation of Guidance and Counseling Program in the schools. The data were collected by using interview, questionnaire, observation and documentation. The data were analyzed after the data were tested for their validity (triangulation) through data triangulation and source triangulation. The research findings showed that the implementation of Guidance and Counseling program at SMPN 1 Tenggarong, SMPN 1 Loa Kulu, and SMPN 1 Loa Janan had run well. The teachers of Guidance and Counseling had prepared Guidance and Counseling program based on the steps of services activities, namely: (1) planning; (2) implementation; (3) outcome evaluation; (4) analysis of the results of assessment; and (5) follow-up. The three schools also made efforts to improve the implementation of the Guidance and Counseling programs and to improve the guidelines of the implementation of Guidance and Counseling program in the schools through professional development program for counseling teachers and classroom teacher in the area of Guidance and Counseling in the forms of training, seminars, Guidance and Counseling teachers discussion forum, and providing sufficient facilities to support the accomplishment of the implementation of Guidance and Counseling program.Competence is the overall of knowledge, value, and attitude which are reflected in thinking and acting habit. <p>Qayyim al-Jawziyah is fiqh expert who is strictly bound to ulama salf’s method in the strong reference to nas of al-Qur’an and Hadith. This can be seen in the prinsciples of making legal conclusion which are not very diffent from those of Hambali school; namely the nas al-Qur’an Hadith, ijma, companions’ fatwa, qiyas, istishab, maslahah mursalah, sad al-dhari’ah, and ‘urf. Besides, with his fiqh thought, he is keen on eliminating taqlid, hilah (an effort to avoid law), using ijtihad, and referring to al-Qur’an and Hadith in solving controversial opinions. Ibn Qayyim’s freedom in his opinion is influenced by the political and social setting in which he lived, because despite his living in the period of stagnant thought and the speard of taqlid among Islam community, the anti-democratic ruling of Mamalik made ulama, in general, critical and strict againt the ruler. On the other hand, he was also very intent in making ijtihad and inviting Islamic people not to be strictly bound to one school, because that will end up in the emergence of excessive fanatism because of the taqlid to imam of that school.</p><p><span><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong><span><em>: Fiqh, Ijtihad, Istinbat al-hukm.</em><br class="Apple-interchange-newline" /></span></span></p>TATANG APENDI
