REORIENTASI PENGEMBANGAN PENDIDIKAN DI ERA GLOBAL
Abstract
Education represents a very strategic medium in preserve the value system expanding in life. Education process is not only giving knowledge and understanding to educative participants, but also more aims at forming of
attitude, behavior, and personality of educative participants, considering the growth of communication, information, and the presence of printed and electronic media that do not always bring positive influence to educative participants. In this
context the educator’s duty is to assist condition the educative participants at correct attitude, behavior or personality, so that they can become agents of modernization for theirselves, their environment, society and for anyone met
without having to differentiate tribe, religion, faction, and race. Education aims at an effort to humanize human being, to assist the proceses of hominism and humanism, it means the execution and the process of education must be able to
assist the educative participants to become high valuable and high cultured human beings who have moral, character, responsibility, and socialize. To realize the performance, education implementations have to be relied on education
foundation which has principle of learning to know, learning to do, learning to be, and learning to live together. Along with global growth the friction of education orientation in realizing the quality of preeminent human resource must be done
fundamentally and populis by relying on value system had.
