UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA TEKS CEPAT MELALUI TEKNIK SKIMMING DAN SCANNING PADA SISWA KELAS IX SMP NEGERI LOA JANAN

Abstract

This study is aimed at seeing the improvement of student ability in reading text fast through skimming and scanning technique of the students grade IX of SMPN 2 Loa Janan. The subjects of the study are students of grade IX A. Data were
collected from reading test and observation. The data were analyzed using percentage and description. The study revealed that there is a significant improvement on the students reading text fast using skimming and scanning technique.
