HUBUNGAN ANTARA MOTIVASI KERJA DAN KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DENGAN KINERJA TATA USAHA SMP DI KABUPATEN KUTAI KARTANEGARA

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to study the relationship among the working motivation and the headmaster leadership on the administration staff performance at of SMP in Kutai Karta-negara regency. The study was conducted at SMP in Kutai
Kartanegara regency by 82 randomly selected respondents derived from the administration staff of SMi. The instrument of the study was questionnaires dealing with working motivation, headmaster leadership, and the performance of the
administration staffs. The techniques used to analyze the data obtained from the research are correlation and regression analysis The results of the study indicate that there is positive and significant relationship between: (1) the working
motivation and the performance of administration staff; (2) the headmaster leadership and the performance of administration staff; and (3) the working motivation together with headmaster leader-ship on the performance of
administration staff.
