PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN QUANTUM TEACHING TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA MATA PELAJARAN IPS TERPADU KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 3 TENGGARONG
Abstract
The target of this research is to know the application of quantum teaching model on integrated IPS lesson, to know the students’ motivation in learning the subject of integrated IPS, and to know the significant influence of the application of quantum
teaching model to the students’ learning motivation on integrated IPS lesson of the eighth grade students of SMP N 3 Tenggarong. Population of this research is all students of the eighth grade of SMP N 3 Tenggarong with the total number is 284 students, while the samples of the research are two classes in which 28 students in experimental class and 28 students in controlled class. By using statistical tests, the t-value of experimental group was 7.64, t-table with α=5% and df=27 was 2.052 (7.64>2.052). Meanwhile, the t-value of controlled group was 4.89 with t-table on α=5% and df=27 was 2.052 (4.89>2.052). It was known that the value of t-counted was 2.173, the value of t-table with α=5% and df=N-2=56-2=54 was 1.671. By looking to the comparison of t-counted and t-table in whicj t-counted>t-table (2.173>1.671), so, null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and working hypotheis (Ha) was accepted. It meant that the using of quantum teaching model significantly influenced to learning motivation of the students on integrated IPS lesson of the eighth grade students of SMP N 3 Tenggarong.
