Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the response of trichocompost fertilizer and ZPT Ratu Biogen and its interactions on the growth and yield of soybeans (Glycine max L. Merill). This research was conducted from November 2019 to February 2020 in Bukit Biru Sub-District, Tenggarong District, Kutai Kartanegara District. The study was arranged in a Randomized Complate Block Design (RCBD) with a 3x3 factorial pattern with three replications. The first factor is trichocompost (T) which consists of 3 levels, namely t0 (control or no treatment) t1 (2.9 kg plot-1) t2 (5.8 kg plot-1) and the second factor is ZPT Ratu Biogen (Z) ie z0 (control or no treatment) z1 (2 ml L-1 Water) z2 (4 ml L-1 Water).


The results showed that the effect of giving trichocompost had no significant effect on the parameters of observation of plant height, age of flowering plants, number of pods, weight of 100 dry seeds and yield of dry weight t ha-1. The highest average yields in treatment t2 (5.8 kg plot-1) with an average yield of 1.05 t ha-1 and the lowest yields in treatment t0 (control or no treatment) with an average yield of 0,92 years ha-1. The results showed that the effect of giving ZPT Ratu Biogen gave no significant effect on the parameters of observation of plant height, age of flowering plants, number of pods, weight of 100 dried seeds, and yields of dry weight t ha-1. In the treatment z1 (2 ml L-1 Water) gave the highest yield with an average yield of 1.08 t ha-1, while the lowest in the z0 treatment (control or no treatment) gave the lowest yields with an average yield 0.90 t ha-1.


The interaction results between the effect of giving trichocompost and ZPT Ratu Biogen were not significantly different to the parameters of plant height, age of flowering plants, number of pods, weight of 100 dry seeds, and yield of dry weight t ha-1. The highest average yield was obtained for the treatment of t2z1 (5.8 kg-1 and 2 ml L-1 Water) with an average yield of 1.16 t ha-1. While the lowest yield was at t0z0 treatment (control or no treatment at all) with an average yield of 0.73 t ha-1.
