Abstract

The move of the nation's capital from Jakarta to East Kalimantan will result in a significant change in the political and power map, that it is not only the government that will move in a narrow sense - the executive only - but also the government in a broad sense, including the Legislature, namely the DPR, MPR and DPD and Judiciary, namely MA and MK.

The relocation of the capital city from Jakarta to Kalimantan will also be followed by rapid socio-cultural changes, both changes in a positive direction and changes in a negative direction. And it is very worried that the relocation of the capital to East Kalimantan has the potential to trigger social conflict. The socio-cultural changes will occur very quickly in the new capital and allow the potential for conflict to be greater.

Anticipation of the political and power map that will undergo significant changes by immediately preparing reliable human resources who are expected to fill new political and power positions, by improving the education of both ASN and non ASN.

And it is also hoped that there will be a rare anticipation of the possible social implications arising from the relocation of the State Capital to East Kalimantan (including, for example, the large potential for social conflict due to the large number of immigrants) by strengthening the existence of local wisdom and solving land problems that have so far been frequent. occur.
